Let me be so bold as to tell you a little about myself. I have been called everything from an “angel” to an “ass-hole”, helping contractors in hundreds of different situations in the outdoor lighting and the holiday lighting business. About 10 years ago for the first time ever I started my first outdoor lighting company. My services were exclusively Outdoor Holiday Lighting and Landscape and Architectural lighting and I owned 2 franchises. Within 2 years I sold that business for a nice 7-digit profit and then quickly started my next venture.

Long story short, I was so frustrated with the “franchise world” that I knew I could create a much better model than any franchise had to offer, and that’s exactly what I did. I offered the same services, but after seeking out and building relationships with the “real” industry experts and fine-tuning my own business model like a well oiled machine, again after only 2 short years I sold out that business, netting another substantially larger profit.

After the sale of my last contracting business (about 7 years ago), I decided I was done and it was time to kick-back and relax. As an avid competitive water skier and a snow boarding fanatic I spent the next several months just having fun. But that didn’t last for long and I found myself bored and eager to “get back in the business” as I had really grown to love the industry.
